Giving More Gifts is This Year's Resolution!

                                                  

This is the New Year and new beginning, many of us would have made some New Year resolutions as well and set objectives which we hope to achieve by the end of this year. Either this year would be similar to the previous year or there would be some changes in this year; like we will meet new people; some of us will complete our education and enter into practical life; some will get married and some will get divorced; some will have children and some will lose children; some will become rich and some will become poor. In gist there would be lots of changes in this year for many of us and some of us will not be able to make it to the next year because life is uncertain and death is inevitable.

No one knows who will make it to the next year, so as long as we are alive let’s make a new year resolution that we will enjoy this year as much as we can; will make as many people happy as we can and will help as many people as we can. Helping other is the reason we have survived in this planet for thousands of years and for many more years to come. And it is true that if you do good deeds then people will do good deeds to you and if you do bad deeds, people will do bad deeds to you.

How can we make people happy this year? Just think about the last year and find out whom you made unhappy last year, if you find no one than it means that you are a good person and don’t make people unhappy very often; but if you find that you made someone unhappy last year and hasn’t talked to her/him for a while then buy a gift and plan to meet that person, when you will meet him/her with a gift, he/she will automatically forget the past and will be happy with you, and will love you more than ever.

Now you have done this it will give you inner satisfaction. After doing this, think about people who were your friends in college or university and you didn’t contact with them last year. If you find these people, plan to meet them and greet them with gifts as well. Giving gifts is a very good thing and it creates an emotional bonding between two people. Give more and more gifts this year to your friends and family and to those whom you haven’t talked last year, and you will see that you will make many people happy.

If you have a grudge against someone or if someone has grudge against you, whatever the case, greet them cheerfully and with respect and buy them gifts. By doing this, you will forget your grudge and there is positive chance that if the other had grudged against you, he/she will forget that grudge. 

So this year’s resolution is to satisfy your conscience by giving more and more gifts to your family, friends, and colleagues.

Is history a mystery? Yes it is indeed mystery for those who don’t know about it. History is very interesting subject but unfortunately only few of us read it. I was watching a movie inception and in that film, the writer described that when we are in a dream, we don’t know the starting of a dream every time we end up in the middle of some situation, and that is true. It is true in real life as well; we don’t have any memory about our origin and our first few years in this world. So we all kind of ended up in the middle of some situation. So are we all in a dream? According to that concept, in a dream we have to die in order to wake up from a dream, will any of us try to shoot him / her to wake up from this dream? It sounds crazy; but looking at it from religious point of view, it is true.

There is a concept of life after death i.e., there is a life after this life where there would be heaven and hell and people will go there after their demise, those who do good deeds will go to heaven and those who do bad deeds will suffer in hell. So we can say that this life is a big dream and reality will struck when we die, and the dreams we see in night are actually dreams within a dream.

Reading history is so important because through studying history, we can know more about ourselves i.e., from where we have come and how we have evolved to a civilized society. Study of history makes us more aware of ourselves, by studying history, we can know more about the advancement man has made and it also gives us inspiration to do more and achieve more.

Today we study novels with interest and we get involved as if it is happening in front of us, we read novels with interest because the stories in them are very exciting and have some great characters. But these characters and stories are not real.

You would be surprised to find that history books are more interesting than the novels; this is because in history books there are interesting stories and great characters and these are all real. These books are more interesting than novels because by reading these books we know that the stories and characters we are reading are real and the facts are real as well so we can get real inspiration from these books.

There are many famous personalities in history who have revolutionized the world and brought much advancement in the fields of science, politics and arts. By reading their biographies, we can get real inspiration and bring positive changes in our life.

Why People Read Fantasy Novels?

 Fantasy novels are so famous because it allows human imagination to go wide without any limits. In fantasy novels, the imagination is not only of the writer but the reader’s imaginations also wander into different world. There are no limitations in imaginations so people love to read fantasy novels. The most famous fantasy novels of all time are “The Lord of the Rings” by J.R.R. Tolkein; “Harry Potter” by J.K. Rowling; “The Chronicles of Narnia” by C.S. Lewis; “Alice in Wonderland” by Charles Lutwidge and the most recent of them “ The Twilight Saga” by Stephenie Meyer. All these novels have become famous among people of all ages. The thing that  makes these novels so famous and different from other fantasy novels is that in these novels, authors have created whole different world through their imaginations, these are far from reality so people loves to read them.  

Fantasy novels are far from reality people can hardly relate themselves to the characters, they can relate few characteristics of the hero or heroine but overall the characterization is total fantasy and not present in real world then why people loves to read fantasy novels? Why they treat these characters as their heroes rather than people in real world? The answer is very simple, the fantasy novels give power to the readers to imagine anything they want, and the characters in these novels have all the qualities that people lack in real world, so people find every good thing in these novels and the most important is that good always beats evil in these novels, which give some hope to the people that it will happen in real world as well.

There are movies also made on these novels but those who have read the novels hate the movies and claim that the movie director and screenplay writer has ruined the whole thing. Why is that so? It is commonly said that a picture is worth of thousands words. The reason is that every human has different mind and different imagination, the meaning of one sentence is perceived differently by two peoples. When people read fantasy novels, they create whole world in their own mind, people imagine while reading it’s just like watching movie. But when they see the movie and see different characters and places than they have imagined than they don’t like this. Because everyone likes his/her own imagination and it is very difficult to make people think as you think.

Different in perceptions is the basic thing which makes movies based on fantasy novels not as good as the novels. There is one more thing to note that when writer is writing a novel, he/she has different perception and readers may perceive it differently but writer don’t force the reader to imagine but give readers a power to perceive that is why fantasy novels are subject to mega success.

Can I Get a free iPad, iPhone and Macbook?

Everyone loves free things. Have you ever considered stealing something? It sounds unethical stealing from someone, even if it is a quarter or a cent. But what if you steal from a billionaire?  How about stealing from Apple Corporation or Sony or Samsung? Can we do that? Well! No we can’t. We can’t steal their money it is very difficult, but can we steal the amazing products they made like iPad, iPod and iPhone? The answer is no. We will have to spend money to buy those products. The thing I don’t understand is that why they made such amazing products that everyone wants but not everyone can afford to buy.

If the products are so expensive that people like me can’t afford to buy then why they show me those products in such a way that I think of buying those products every time but my pocket doesn’t allow me to do so. These gadgets are so cool and awesome that everyone wants to have his/her hands on them, and many of us can’t afford it so we pray to God that someone offer us a gift. But the dilemma of our life is that most of our friends and relatives are like us, and they don’t offer us expensive gifts. At my birthday I wished for someone to offer me an iPad as a gift but instead I received a note pad.

We can’t afford to buy these cool gadgets and no one will offer such gifts as well then what should we do? This gave me an idea of stealing from these companies, it may sound illegal and unethical but it is exciting. The companies like Apple, Sony and Samsung etc. make thousands of products every year and they are all sold out because unlike us there are many people who can afford to buy these products. So generally speaking a company is making and selling thousand of products and making billions of dollars in profit. These products are sold through different retailers other than Apples (Apple has its own retail stores), so each retailer may have hundred or maximum thousands units to sale, so it is not right to steal from retailer because he has also spend money in getting these items.

The best way to steal these gadgets is to steal directly from the manufacturing place, because out of thousands, loss of one or two doesn’t make any difference. Imagine having a free iPad or free iPhone, how fantastic that would be. But who would do such a daring thing and cheat his conscience to steal from these companies. Breaking into the company, is impossible, stealing is far from that. So this idea of stealing is flop from the beginning.

Now what? We can’t buy; no one will give us gifts and we can’t steal as well. How can we get these cool products? The answer is sad that we can’t have these products we can only watch them in TV or read their reviews and compliment their features. Or there is a 1% probability that someone like Steven Jobs will read this article and bestow me all Apple’s products as a complimentary gift.

And  if you are really reading this then send me iPhone 4 and iPad, don’t send Macbook, but in case you send all these three items then I will appreciate that.
